Fees
Like most exchanges, FCX charges small deposit and withdrawal fees. Withdrawal fees track live network gas (2× custody estimate on most chains; Ethereum mainnet is gas-only with no treasury take). Spot trading is 0.10% per side.
Fathom (FCX) is associated with Emberchain. Trading, deposit, and withdrawal fees that settle to treasury are used to buy back FCX — the exchange token — and may also support the Emberchain ecosystem. Fee schedule
How fees work
- Trading — 0.10% on each matched side; treasury share is used to buy back FCX.
- Deposits — flat fee deducted from the credited amount (you still send the full on-chain transfer).
- Withdrawals — on most networks the fee is 2× estimated gas for custody legs (cold→hot, hot→you, hot→treasury): half covers gas, half goes to treasury. On Ethereum mainnet the fee is 1× estimated gas for your payout only (no treasury fee). Charged on top of the amount you withdraw — destination receives the full amount you enter. Use Max send (= available − fee) so the total debit fits your balance.
FCX token & buybacks
FCX is the exchange token. A future airdrop will reward accounts with the highest trading volume on FCX. Fees that settle to treasury are used to buy back FCX on the open market — so exchange activity supports token demand. Details (schedule, supply, eligibility) will be published before any drop.
